FSBI TsNIGRI reviewed federally funded nonfuel mineral exploration results for 2019 and proposals for including Rosnedra federal program list of properties to reproduce nonfuel mineral base for 2020 and the subsequent period until 2024 in the project (in accordance with Rosnedra orders No. 336 as of 20.08.2019 and No. 346 as of 02.09.2019).

The meeting took place on October 9 and October 15-16 (chaired by S.A. Aksenov, Deputy Head of Rosnedra), October 17 (chaired by A.V. Rudnev, Head of Rosnedra nonfuel mineral department) and October 18 (chaired by G.B. Androsova, Head of Rosnedra department).

The meeting was attended by representatives of Rosnedra, territorial Rosnedra bodies, JSC Rosgeology, JSC Vnigriugol, FSUE Tsniigeolnerud, FSBI VSEGEI, FSBI VIMS, FSBI IMGRE and FSBI TsNIGRI (a total of 152 delegates).

Materials of Privolzhsknedra, Uralnedra, Tsentrnedra, Dalnedra, Tsentrsibnedra, Yakutnedra and Sibnedra departments on 64 ongoing exploration projects (24 of them would be completed in 2019 and the remaining 40 continuing into 2020) and 62 new projects were reviewed and discussed. A separate meeting focused on the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
