PRECIOUS METALS
Prospecting for ore gold in carbonaceous carbonate-terrigenous complexes of the southern Bodaibo ore district was performed. 1:100,000 metallogenic zoning and gold potential maps were compiled. Forecasting-prospecting models of standard ore fields and gold deposits were developed and adapted to prospecting conditions.
A forecasting-prospecting complex ensuring discovery and delineation of potential ore fields and deposits within areas characterized by various degrees of study and landscapes was formed. Gold mineralization zones were located and traced, their morphology, parameters and gold distribution pattern were determined, inferred resources were estimated, recommendations for further exploration focus were given.
