Main areas of the scientific and practical activity: geology, prospecting, and exploration for solid minerals; minerogeny; mineralogy; crystallography. A major Russian specialist in the area of infrared spectroscopy of diamond. She created a unique catalogue of reference spectra of minerals for the IR-Fourier microscope and developed a fundamentally new express method for the mineral diagnostics in heavy mineral concentrates (HMC), which makes it possible to increase the sensitivity and reliability of the HMC analysis and to significantly expand the capabilities of the HMC-mineralogical method of ore deposit prospecting.

Author of more than 90 scientific works in domestic and foreign journals, many presentations at international conferences; co-author of three monographs, as well as methodological recommendations that optimize forecasting and prospecting for diamond deposits.
