DESIGN OF DIFFERENT-SCALE MINERAGENIC TAXON FORECASTING-PROSPECTING MODELS
TsNIGRI has pioneered the design of standard diamond, precious and base metal deposit forecasting-prospecting models. Such models include conjugate and subordinate elements of ore and circum-ore zones as well as geophysical, geochemical and other elements characterizing these zones. These elements can form a basis to identify characteristics inherent in a specific geological and economic deposit type and determine the most important deposit prospecting criteria and features which, in its turn, allows to reveal the methods to define these criteria and features.
Thus, forecasting-prospecting models help to define ore matter accumulation, its geological setting and the features to discover and evaluate it.
Multifactor geological and prospecting models of DPBM deposits (including unconventional types for specific regions) are developed; they ensure underexplored areas potential assessment, recognition and delineation of potentially prospective deposits at early exploration stages, preliminary evaluation of erosional truncation and expected mineralization extent, and design of the best forecasting-prospecting complexes based on these models.
TsNIGRI experts develop new forecasting-prospecting DPBM deposit models for various Russian regions, adapt standard models to specific exploration conditions and forecasting-prospecting complex design based on them.
At subsurface user requests, such models can be compiled for all types of diamond, precious and base metal deposits.
